Auston Nielsen

Auston is the swiss army man at Amethyst Center for Healing. He got his Degree of Dudeness at the School of Cool in 1990 and has been representing it’s cool values ever since.

Auston was a self employed handyman for many years before starting his social work journey with Amethyst as house staff at My Aunties’ House. Since then he has evolved his role to fit the needs of the business—currently dabbling in tech support, administrative assistance, social media management, and website maintenance, but his main role here is case management.

When not managing cases or supporting technical glitches, Auston can be found reading a book about the mysterious of the Universe or eating vegetables, watching a documentary about aliens or hugging a tree, working on his skoolie build or at a live concert. He feels most at peace in nature with his dog, Joni, a crunchy apple, and a stellar music playlist.

If there is one thing Auston cares about most, it’s service to others.
