Brissa Arias
Brissa is a compassionate and skilled therapist who believes that every person has the potential for change. Specializing in trauma, anxiety, and domestic violence, she works with individuals from all walks of life—whether they are teens, adults, or children. As a bilingual therapist, Brissa offers services in both English and Spanish, providing a culturally sensitive and inclusive space for Spanish-speaking clients to explore their concerns.
Currently pursuing a Master of Social Work degree at the University of Utah, Brissa is set to graduate in the spring of 2025. As she continues her academic journey, she integrates a variety of therapeutic approaches, with a particular focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Brissa tailors each session to the unique needs of her clients, believing that by addressing the root causes of emotional pain—often rooted in past experiences—individuals can achieve lasting healing, growth, and empowerment.
Known for being warm, approachable, and non-judgmental, Brissa creates a safe space where clients can feel heard and supported as they work through difficult issues. Whether it’s navigating anxiety, overcoming trauma, or exploring personal growth, she is committed to guiding clients through each step of their journey, always with patience, understanding, and a bit of humor along the way.
When she’s not in the therapy room, Brissa enjoys time with friends and family, cooking, and spending time “touching some grass”—her way of staying grounded and finding peace in the everyday moments. These hobbies help her maintain balance in her own life so she can continue to support others with energy, empathy, and a fresh perspective.
