Dec. 6, 2024, marked 15 years since anyone has seen or heard from Susan Cox Powell.
The West Valley City mom of two -disappeared on Dec. 6, 2009, while her husband told police he took their two young sons, ages 3 and 5, on a last-minute, midnight winter -camp out in the west desert. Susan’s story captivated the country, and in 2018, KSL Podcasts and investigative journalist Dave Cawley produced the most accurate and comprehensive reporting on the Powell case in season one of the COLD podcast.
